Her expertise includes civil litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, insurance, corporate and commercial law, family matters, real estate, and advocating for women’s equality and rights.
In addition to her legal accomplishments, Ms. Simon is Barbados’ Principal Delegate on the Inter-American Commission of Women OAS and has served in several capacities including on the Council of the Barbados Bar Association and as President and Programme Action Officer of Soroptimist International Barbados, a member of Soroptimist International Worldwide, championing initiatives for the empowerment of women and girls. Her academic background includes a B.Sc. with Honours from the University of Miami and an LL.B with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies.
